7 Day Marmaris-Marmaris

Day 1:  Transfer from Dalaman Airport to embark on your yacht in Marmaris.  Marmaris is one of the most  popular summer resorts of Turkey. The most important historic building in the town centre is the Marmaris Castle. Many bars and restaurants are spread in the Marina. It is, at the same time, quite a full-fledged shopping centre. The night spent in a small, quiet bay nearby the town.   


Day 2:   Sightseeing tour in Marmaris then sailing onward to Caunos (Dalyan), visiting the Carian city Caunos, its famous rock-tombs and well-known beach.  Enjoy the fascinating  and beautiful sands of Iztuzu Beach known as one the breeding ground of Caretta- Caretta sea turtles.  


Day 3:  An early sail to Bozukkale Bay which takes its name from the unfinished castle at the entrance of this well-protected bay.  This bay is ideal for trekking, snorkeling, swimming and BBQ ashore.


Day 4:  Sail to Knidos.  Knidos is a famous port city of the pre-Hellenistic and Hellenistic period of the area.  It was famous for the naked statue of the Aphrodite.  Some beautiful remains of the ancient city are exhibited in the British Museum, yet again the well-protected ancient city worths a visit. For the evening, you may set sail to Datca, a cosy town in the area.


Day 5:  The bay of Hisarönü offers a lot nice bays to visit: Bencik, Orhaniye, Selimiye are some of the most popular spots in the area.  Selimiye is a local village with very good fish restaurants, some shops and cafes ashore.  


Day 6:  After having breakfast, sailing to Bozburun for water sports, swimming and enjoying the sun & sea, the night can be spent in Bozukkale or Serce Bay.


Day 7:  Sailing to Ciftlik and than to the bay of Marmaris. Last night is spent in the bay of Marmaris.


Day 8:   After breakfast disembarkation from the yacht and transfer to the airport.
